I’ll let the caption tell you about the piece:</p> <blockquote> <p>Measurement is a part of our lives that seems to just exist. The idea of bridging the gap between the physical world and numbers has a rich history of political struggle and ambitious plans.</p> <p>The idea of what “one” is has changed from the length of the forearm to the distance light travels in a three millionth of a second.
