It is clearly apparent that art’s function is more than mere entertainment, more than mere creative license; it is the platform for all members of our ever changing, ever developing, global society to have their voices heard, to have their opportunity to become proactive in the shaping of the future; the moulding of society; the creation of laws and values; the writing of history; the maintenance of freedom.
